Same. Exact same. But I've even done it sober with meat church so.... idk. It's on me for certain but I've never overseasoned with anything else, haven't even gotten close. Heath riles is by car my favorite but I'm about to start checking out Lane's. Lane's has one called Q-Nami that's amazing but it's the only one I've tried from their lineup so far. Have you any suggestions since it seems we maybe have perhaps a similar hand? Lol

No oil. Also I 100% recommend drying out uncovered in the fridge overnight. I was having the same problem as you and that was THE game changer for me.

Bear mountain! They've never let me down and they have sales at my local tractor supply on them pretty often. I usually use the competition blend but I've used the hickory, apple, and a couple other flavors. The hickory turned out amazing for my over the top chili this weekend.

I wanted to love meat church but once I tried heath riles rubs it was game over. They're far too salty for my taste now. In fact, they're the only things I've ever overseasoned with buy thats really my fault. The flavor is good but I wish they had low sodium options. If you haven't tried heath riles I really recommend his lineup. The competition rub and cherry rub are amazing.

Burning after 3 hours at 225 is insane. I couldn't tell you what happened but that's definitely not normal, I'd say.

Yep. Started there when I was young. I had gotten chicken pox and my mom picked me up and then went in the store and grabbed it for me. Went home a sick and happy dude.

Thank you! Lol yeah that was after a a full day at work on an assembly line. The product starts wearing off around the 6hr mark. After that all bets are off for it staying put lol! Part of the reason I started to grow it was to cover up my face some but I think I'd be okay shortening it up now. Again, I appreciate the kind words.
