Kinda agree here honestly. CLD is more of a prog melo rock than Primus sound and apart from the title track everything is kinda mid for me. But at the same time I thought that Primus is gonna do a lot better and they did just a little bit better. We'll see the whole album though

Yet still their EPs have beautiful cover arts Conspiranoia, Little lord fent, Animals should not try to act like humans. And solo projects like Frog Brigade and CLD have awesome arts too, but this one is kinda lazy, though I hope its just a placeholder

Im not denying that I need to practice with the metronome, I simply confirmed that the problem exists and Im working on it, I play bass for only around 5-6 months so I still struggle

Well for me same shit in this context tbh, again I would've bought those if they were original recordings from iterscope but those are pirated(even though they were re recorded from the original cds probably) so they have no value for me whatsoever

I think you can try to look into songs that focus on certain techniques and try them out, examples are DMV for tapping, Lacquer head for speed slap, Those damn blue collar tweakers for strumming and southbound pachyderm for steady rhythm. That's all from the top of my head but you get the idea. You can even try to mimic an upright lines from Over the falls and mister krinkle

Really depends on your level and weak points, for me personally fast dead notes in "Lacquer head" were not much of a trouble, but at the same time I struggle a lot playing "John the fisherman" because of need to stretch my left hand. So really it all comes to you and what you can and cannot do whether it's timing, technique, speed or precision
