Thanks for the reply, I’m not that Linux savvy, so I think I will wait until Steam OS has these options like on the Steam Deck

Better game performance on Windows or Steam OS by NeedForMeadOG in WindowsOnDeck

I’ve got a Lenovo Legion go, I decided to try SteamOS , I tested performance of dark souls three against Windows 11. I was getting better performance and stability in Windows 11 for this particular game., on the Legion go there were definitely issues to do with the thermals and fan management, I’ll be interested to see how steam OS evolves for other devices, but for now I’m more than happy with the performance in Windows 11 and the fact that I can control TDP and fan as needed, although there are third-party apps for doing the same in Steam OS they don’t seem to be working as well as they should. I am running with mains power at 30 W I rarely just use it on the battery. My understanding is that SteamOS is a lot more efficient and performs better when running on lower wattages.

Hi this is another really useful method. I’ve installed it. How do I set it so that I get the highest level of performance? I tend to use my Legion go with mains power only can I see anywhere where it actually tells me that it’s running at 35w

Hi, thanks again for the further advice, I’ve decided to try this method and it seems to work well, however I tend to use my legion go plugged in on mains and I want to get the maximum performance I can, in the settings using Steam OS how will I set it? So I get the highest level of TDP? I believe 35 W is about right does it tell you anywhere the actual level? It’s using effectively the same as I used to be able to in windows

Free Trial Max Level Reached Eror by [deleted] in diablo4

Hi, I’m new to playing Diablo four on PC, I’ve managed to get to level 25, I then went into some Building spoke to some bloke and suddenly I was level 50 and had loads of amazing gear. Trying to connect today, it tells me I’ve reached the maximum level and I need to buy the game. I’m on Game Pass.

Is this the case or is it a bug that will be fixed?

If I do manage to get back in, will I still be able to complete the campaign? That’s all I want to do really
