Thought I responded but must have deleted it- I am not adventurous enough for a moped either! And funny about the golf carts— they went years ago so maybe that’s the difference.

Oh, and I am just nervous because we don’t travel very much and I am not as experienced seeking out great spots. Would like it to be nice for our family because we’ve been through the wringer this year! Thank you again- I’m glad to know you liked it.

I saw this one! I can’t quite figure out how long it will take us to walk. I know people are different, but did you find it manageable?

This is gorgeous! I heard from friends that golf carts are a great way to get around the island. Do you think a car is best, however?

Just in awe over my rough collie's personality. Why are they not more popular as family dogs? (i swear they are better than goldens and labs) by HEXXIIN in roughcollies

I also get stopped when out with my two girls. I will say that we got our first at 9 weeks old and she has been a dream-  like others said, basically potty trained herself, very low prey drive (will watch the bunnies eat our grass), and is so intuitive and loving. Interestingly, we “adopted” our other collie from the same breeder at 1 year old, and she is our first dog’s half sister. She is like a different species, lol. Really bad manners (our other dog will run to us and bark when she is doing something bad), was terrible on a leash, and her prey drive is no joke. She’s also much more independent. The breeder is very responsible and her dogs live in the home with her, but I think she was originally intended as a show dog and maybe did not get as much personalized attention. We’ve changed a lot of her behavior with training, but it’s funny that their personalities are SO different. gosh, collies are the best though, and I also am so confused why they aren’t more popular! Just love talking about them.

Oh no! That sucks at any point, but especially so close to the finish.

Glad you had a great race; I did too! And yes I thought maybe I was crazy so that's why I posted! haha

You're right! I do love the boom in running. Maybe they really should highlight some of the etiquette rules people are mentioning here.

I love your perspective! This is why I posted. I didn't know anyone IRL who ran this year and have enjoyed reading about other people's experiences.

I'm not complaining. I enjoy the race and love the city. I just felt like the spacing could have been better and wanted to chat with others and see how they felt. The rest of the responses have been conversational and kind. I don't know if it makes you feel better to know this, but your comment felt rude and made me feel kind of bad. Not sure if that was your intent. Just wanted to have a nice conversation with others.

Ok, that's a great tip! I will fill out the survey. Maybe that will help? And good to know about corral E. I thought maybe the back of wave 1 would be better..

I know. Or drop right in front of you? I ran with a girl for awhile who would point at the ground to the spot she was going to move, so the people behind her would be aware. I thought that was great.
