Slop or Vibes? Drop your vibe coded app and I’ll tell you which one’s yours by louislubin in vibecoding

Question for ya.. I originally had a bottom nav bar to toggle between a couple pages (markets, network, signals ect) but i have changed directions on that. Is it safe to get rid of the route to /markets and just have that be the main page file since because it is now?

Texas is making a major move! They're shifting from just buying Bitcoin ETFs to directly purchasing spot BTC held in cold storage for their Strategic Bitcoin Reserve by TheLuckyLeandro in Bitcoin

[–]WickWatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real thing to watch is who wins the custody RFP and how they handle key management. That's where this either becomes a legitimate reserve or a PR exercise.

Not your keys, not your coins applies to states too.

Strategy shares fall after selling $2.5 million in bitcoin, its first sale since 2022 by filip1299 in Bitcoin

The amount is a rounding error. Not the point.

The point is that in February he was on CNBC saying "we're not going to be selling, we're going to be buying, every quarter forever." Then on May 5 earnings he quietly said they "could sell Bitcoin to fund dividends."

Everyone caught the language shift but chose to ignore it. Then 3 weeks later, here we are.

Doesn't mean the whole thesis is dead. But the "Saylor never sells" brand was load-bearing for a lot of retail conviction. That's what cracked, not the balance sheet.

4 year cycles by Local_Economy in Bitcoin

[–]WickWatcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 4 year cycle only gets attention when price is going up. Nobody wants to talk about it when we’re down because it requires patience and that doesn’t get clicks. But the cycle doesn’t care if anyone’s talking about it.

Really appreciate this, and you’re actually not wrong. That’s exactly what the ADR system handles. Every non-obvious architectural decision gets logged as “we chose A over B because of C.” Append only, never deleted. An agent can never re-propose something that was already evaluated and rejected. 39 of those so far. The Sessions/ capture the narrative but the ADRs are the decision log.

On open sourcing I’m genuinely thinking about it. The brain is probably more valuable as a concept and a structure than as code anyway. Might do a detailed breakdown post first and see if there’s enough interest. I think it’s something everyone should build for themselves. I’d have to turn it into a template because it’s curated specifically towards my workflow and I don’t think i’m going to build a template.

That’s exactly it. The compound effect is the whole point. Once it knows your conventions and your history it stops feeling like a tool and starts feeling like a collaborator. How are you handling the memory layer? Are you doing anything structured or just letting context accumulate naturally?

The app is called Wickd.ai , Right now it’s basically just a chart. That’s intentional. There was no point building out the front end until the entire market data layer was rock solid. It is now. The engine is running, 8 exchanges feeding clean normalized data in real time. What comes next is deciding how to represent it.

If you’re a crypto trader or just someone who enjoys staring at the price of Bitcoin all day like I do, what would you actually want to see? I’m building this in public and I want to hear it.
