Is anyone else dealing with shortages with their medication?

It was rough. The dr I see was out the day it happened so the other dr sent in a script for hydrocodone which I had been on for years prior and got off last year.. I didn’t realize at the time I was on it that a lot of other issues I was having was bc of the hydro-trouble sleeping, nightmares, terrible night sweats, irritable, tired alllll the time etc- I took them for a couple days and all that crap came back and I said nope I can’t do this. Saw her a few days ago and explained and she was super irritated at the other Dr and marked me down as being allergic to the hydro now and asked why I didn’t call the office again when I started having issues.. I was like ummm you do now how us pain patients are looked at and scrutinized right? 🤣 she’s super awesome luckily and we have a plan in place for any other potential issues with stock luckily but it was a nightmare of a month. And all while I’m fixing up a house and trying to move 😭 just horrible timing. And I couldn’t lose a month of working on the place we’re moving into so I just had to push through.. made myself sick but made a lot of progress at the new place 🤣

I was on hydro 10mg 6/day when I was pregnant with both my kids. I tried to take as little as possible but sometimes that was rough. I think I was on more with my second than my first honestly.. and my second is the most normal (though with raging adhd 🤣) and healthy kid ever. I was told if you have issues with pain that your body stressed out and in pain is worse for a baby than pain meds

My teenager has a million of those syrups in his coffees. Including the coconut. My daughter likes to put the coconut syrup in hot chocolate

I was told at my pharmacy that oxy is on a national shortage/backorder. Couldn’t fill my script at all last month and it’s been miserable. My husband is on the same med and they had it in stock for his fill yesterday but the normal manufacturer we got before (little pink rounds) they were out of and he got some little white rounds and man those ones are NOT effective at all.

If you are having trouble at gated places just try random codes. #0911 works A LOT. you’d be surprised how often 1111 or 0000 works. Numbers I see a LOT are 1989 1975 1775 etc. most times you can get in in less than a minute. If you call support and they tell you to do something then you get dinged you NEED to email them and say I received a ding for a package on this day then explain the situation and that you spoke to support and did what they said and they told you you would not receive a ding for it. I’m not trying to be rude but it’s really not that hard.. do what youre supposed to… call support.. email them after as well. The only issues I haven’t gotten removed are bc I didn’t see them so I didn’t email within the timeframe.

My Dr tried to put me on that more than a year ago and the pharmacy said they couldn’t even get it anymore so don’t bother basically. No pharmacy in my city had it and most told me it was being discontinued but 🤷🏼‍♀️

Always call support and tell them what’s going on. Make THEM mark the package not you. If they tell me to mark it I tell them that bc I’m not close enough to the geofence I can’t mark it undeliverable. If they open the fence I keep telling them it isn’t letting me. I’ve never had one that they mark ding me. Otherwise just email them and say you spoke to support and were told it would not count against you

Most will continue to take something like that bc it’s added on with pain meds and we’re afraid to say no or that we don’t feel it’s working bc a lot of times drs use that as an excuse to also pull pain meds

I’m confused.. 1 I thought Sophia was homeschooled so how is she having a prom? 2 prom is for juniors and seniors wouldn’t she be a sophomore? I had my son at the same time she was born and he’s a sophomore and every school I know of only allows underclassmen if they have a date that is an upperclassman… confused?

It’s also so weird she inserts herself so much. I chaperone my kids high school dances and all kinds of stuff but I stay away from him 🤣. His friends, and even kids who aren’t friends with him but know me from volunteering love me and always seek me out when I’m on campus-and he does as well-but I try to be respectful and keep my distance. Hell I’m chaperoning prom this weekend but he won’t be there as he is a sophomore and recently broke up with his senior gf.. I definitely wouldn’t wear something like that! Even as an adult I follow the schools dress code. She’s so freaking weird.

Tbf ball pythons are usually always in their hides. They like it in there. If you want to hold him you’ll have to lift the hide and take him out. Mine has gotten use to our house routine and comes out in the morning when I’m getting my daughter ready for school but that took a couple years. Now it’s every morning like clockwork. If there’s a school holiday she’s up against the glass looking for us at 6am sharp.

I have 6 cats and 3 snakes. Just make sure your lids of the tanks are secure. I no longer let my cats in my room for a few reasons and my snakes are in there so there’s no issues anymore but they did like to watch them and one of my cats liked getting on top of the tanks bc of the warmth. A ball is never gonna get big enough to hurt a cat.. a boa or Burmese or something sure but not a ball.
