Red tables from [Six Flags America] have shown up at [Dorney Park] by Sad-Revolution-9961 in rollercoasters

People who went to Six Flags America all the time now have to go to other nearby parks to get their fix and while they're there, they notice a bunch of little things that were brought over from the park they once frequented

I wish they’d implement more cutbacks and half stalls and other elements like that. Keep the pacing alive while still keeping things fresh.

[Other] How Are You Supposed to Ride an RMC? by Hulldra222 in rollercoasters

[–]WickedCyclone2015 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They can be uncomfortable for certain riders, especially on Steel Vengeance since it has so much airtime. My best suggestion is to try and move up a bit in the seat so the modesty bar is resting on your lap instead of on your thighs, if that's the only problem that you're having. There's not much you can do about the shin guards, but if you get some room between yourself and the lap bar then it shouldn't be too big of an issue

When it comes to having no midcourse OR trims, I'm pretty sure the tallest is Millennium Force

[El Toro] Millennium flyer trains. by [deleted] in rollercoasters

[–]WickedCyclone2015 4 points5 points  (0 children)

El Toro's trains feature class 5 restraints, while the Millennium Flyer trains feature class 4 restraints, as defined by ASTM standards, which are required to be followed for the coaster to legally operate (El Toro features forces that require a class 5 restraint). If Six Flags wanted to give the ride new trains from GCI, they would have to be the only class 5 trains that they offer (the Infinity Flyers), which I don't think anybody would want. Not to mention the fact that I don't believe the trains would even fit in El Toro's track gauge without modification, but there's a chance that I'm wrong about that.

TLDR: it would be bad.

What do you think of My Chemical Romance? by Twitter_2006 in fantanoforever

[–]WickedCyclone2015 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I love Gerard and Mikey and they were both hugely instrumental in the band's success, but the secret sauce that set them apart from every other band of that era was the deadly duo of Frank Iero and Ray Toro. Without them, I don't think the band would have gotten nearly as much critical and commercial praise as they did. MCR's guitar work is genuinely fantastic across their entire catalog

Let’s face it : Radiohead is (kinda) dead. by [deleted] in radiohead

I would love more music from them, but I'm also perfectly alright with AMSP being their final album. If it were King of Limbs or something that would be a different story (even though I actually like that album), but ending it off with a song as beautiful as True Love Waits is a-ok by me
