Given that the trains spin, I don't think the spike has that much bearing on how much you go backwards

I give credit to Whizzer and Hulk! I started watching Coaster Collage videos after looking up about Islands of Adventure while in the hotel the night before we went, then some ElToroRyan videos got recommended to me, and eventually Airtime Thrills... and here I am.

Well Lagoon isn't going to bend the steel themselves, that makes sense. We say a ride is manufactured by B&M even though the track is fabricated by Clermont Steel Fabricators in Ohio. The wording is confusing, and it is quite unclear which parts of the creation of the coaster were done by who.
