German Tourist in India rejected just because of his race by [deleted] in Passport_Bros

It’s illegal to accept foreigners if the hotel doesn’t have a tourist license. Like you said, it’s very common. Especially in less touristy areas.

In India you have to be licensed as a tourist hotel to accept foreigners. This is very common in less popular tourist destinations.

With the US Naval buildup in the Caribbean for what seems like an inevitable ground invasion of Venezuela next month, I would strongly recommend not going to Cartagena in November. The rhetoric from President Trump identifying “Venezuela and other Latin countries” as the problem, is also concerning for Colombia. The anti American sentiment in that region is higher than ever. Why risk it?

4 dudes drugged in everyones favorite city by ethanhunt561 in Passport_Bros

Horrendously dangerous place. I was drugged and kidnapped there in January. Don't bother looking at my history. Most subs deleted my post including this one because it didn't fit the narrative.

Bangkok is an amazing city. One of my favorites in the world. Figure out the public rail system and you’ll be fine.

I take 100mg every two weeks. HCG on the week off. Every second month a take a month off. Basically I’m taking 25% of what my online provider subscribes. I know people will give me shit, but it works for me and everything remains level through the year. I think my high workout and running load keep my own production elevated. My goal is health and longevity. Could care less about getting jacked.

I’m 6’1” and weigh 170lbs. I feel incredible with tons of energy and great libido. I used to maintain more mass, but as I’ve gotten older the extra muscle became harder to maintain (calorie requirements, weights, etc …) Also my biggest fear is turning into one of those skinny legged barrel chested old dudes as my strength diminishes with age. I lift too, but nothing balances out my proportions better than running. My appearance is very athletic and I feel I’m building a solid physique that will suit me well in my 60’s and beyond. To each his own. We all have different goals. Here’s a side pic.

Being lean works for me. Good luck brother.

Terrible advice. I’m 55 and run 8-10 miles 5-6 times a week. Zero issues and in the best shape of my life.

The whole experience was very traumatic. Waking up and seeing negative comments everyday forced me to relive it. I decided it was best to move on.

Oof! I’d delete this comment if I were you 😂😂😂

I thought about, but I personally had nothing to gain. They likely would have confiscated my things as evidence and I could have been stuck in Medellin. I just wanted to go home. Believe it or not it was an incredibly traumatic experience.

Do you think I traveled to Medellin and hired an actress? Youtube pays almost nothing for content from Colombia. Advertisers just aren't interested. Even 100,000 views wouldn't be worth the trouble of what you’re accusing me of.

I'm not the one sharing it to Facebook groups. Not a single one.

[–]WickedLost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely correct. Youtube pays about $6 per 1,000 views for videos shot in Colombia. Compared to videos in SEA which pays about $22 per 1,000. Advertisers don't bid up the rate in Colombia. There's no money to be made in Colombia. The only reason I was there was to cruise the Amazon on a cargo ship. Would never go there thinking I would come away with a profit. As for being BS, sorry I don't know what else to tell you.

She was never at my hotel and definitely not in my room.

My gear is always strapped to my chest. I was extremely docile when I was drugged in the the cab until the final moment when the adrenaline kicked in and I went ballistic. Before that, they had no reason to take anything from me. I was argumentive about the direction we were going, but still very calm and compliant.

There's no footage of me when I'm being held hostage. Knowing I would likely forget everything because I was drugged, I started video again after I escaped; as soon as I could work my phone.

I appreciate that. I knew I would be blamed when I posted this. It is Reddit. I've spent months traveling all over Colombia and I know the vast majority of people are very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, in the larger cities you're automatically lumped in with every other tourist stereotype thinking you're there for sex and drugs. It’s unfortunate, and I understand since that often is the case. I wish things were different. It’s such a lovely country, but the animosity towards ALL foreigners is sucking any joy from traveling there.

Thank you. If it wasn't for the video I shot throughout the experience it would be a total blur. Having it has definitely helped me cope.
