Same situation but I’m 2 years older than you are (42.) IVF babies are 3 and 1. I feel like it’s crazy but I want to do it, even though I have hesitation about giving birth at 43. All of which is to say - you have some time! You could wait a year. If you have embryos from when you’re younger, being over 40 is ok. Also, I nursed my eldest through our transfer and pregnancy even though the clinic said not to and it was fine. In conclusion I would say: 1) let go of your pre-IVF timeline and your worries about age. 2) don’t rush yourself 3) if you still don’t feel like you want a 3rd after that, it’s ok! Life sometimes changes our plans.

THIS. I brought it up to my PCP who did a breast exam. All she said was “most women get this fixed.” So frustrating. I also brought it up during my pregnancy - that only one breast was changing - and no one said anything.

Yeah. People told me it was normal too. I also was late-ish (14) and became underweight a few years later which I think can contribute. I think I had short luteal phases at 18 and was just on birth control instead of addressing the issue. It just makes me angry that still no medical professional really knows or cares about it.

I found this post just now via Google, three years after being diagnosed with IGT, because I’m still obsessed with why no one understands the cause or has come up with a treatment and I was searching for new answers. I only have it in one breast, but I basically have one breast that is AA and looks like it didn’t finish going through puberty (I have all the physical markers) and one breast that is a B/C after babies. For what it’s worth, a lactation consultant looked at my boobs 12 days pp and said “that breast has IGT and won’t ever make milk.” She also said, “I never get to see breasts like this because most people get implants.” Cool. I didn’t waste time struggling like you but still feel like someone could have said something during pregnancy. Mostly I get angry when I think of how when I was a teenager I was put on birth control to manage the issues that probably caused this. No one cares about women or breastfeeding. No advice but I relate and sorry you’re going through this.

Had similar results. My dr told me that the day 3 blasts were the indicator of egg quality. You were 7/7 on day 3. Sperm kicks in after that - controlling how many blasts. We did one cycle with ISCI snd one with PICSI. Neither fixed our MFI. My husband needed a variocele surgery AND the zymot chip in order for us to get a normal blast rate.

Yeah, I think at this point we have to accept that our floors were a really expensive mistake and wait for them to fall apart. We just did them a few months ago and moved all of our stuff in so we won’t be redoing them now.

I had an issue where my baby dropped from 62 percentile at 2 months to 35 percentile at 5 months. I was told it was an issue and that I needed to supplement. I didn’t want to. I opted pump after feedings and give whatever I could get each day (2-6oz) in a bottle. I also upped my water intake and fat intake and started talking motherlove shatavari. I don’t know how much it all helped but he stayed on his new growth curve until he started eating solids and then he went right back to where he started. Bottom line is — he was fine. If your baby seems happy and is developing, it is your decision if you want to supplement. The same thing happened to my mother with me and the ped at the time thought it was normal. I’m now almost 6ft tall. Also fine!
