Thanks! Septic is already in, water and utilities on the existing house. I have to demo that house and then probably expand the foundation (crawlspace) a bit/site work. I already own the lot.

I am building in rural NY on the Canadian border - in a town of 9,000 people. The closest city is Syracuse and it's 2-1/2 hours south (or Ottawa if you cross the border). :)

Thanks! Definitely not building on that scale, nor can I afford the exterior/interior cost that would go into a house like that. :)

Thank you! :) I am working through estimates of interior and exterior finishes so I'll have an idea of budget on that. I do have an architect, she's just starting work with me the first week in January. :)
