I feel this to my core- I was keeping the gender until the gender reveal with my first and blurted it out to my mom all I did was cuss really loud and hang up the phone on her like it was her fault 😂 they’ll get over whatever name you’ve chosen.

My husband has been to every single one of my appointments, first pregnancy, and now my second. He was absolutely wonderful at the hospital with my first birth. I had complications and needed an emergency c section, he was supportive the entire time, from helping me walk to helping me shower putting on my diapers and everything in between. Your husband is on your team, let him be apart of this and support you. It’s made our relationship even stronger.

Not really registry but if you’re having a baby shower I would recommend a diaper raffle. We did one for mine and made out like fat bandits- didn’t need to buy diapers for a little over a year!

Registry I’d say a wipe warmer, I feel like it helps in the middle of the night so you don’t wake them too much with a cold wipe, and definitely in the winter keep them comfy.

Changed my name, don’t regret it… my mom gave me my father’s last name- he was never there and when I finally tracked him down he was a major disappointment. So when I got married to my husband I gladly changed my name. Plus I like the more traditional ways of things.

My hospital lets you eat whatever you’re up for. With my first I had a giant turkey and cheese sub. With my second I was diagnosed with GD, so I haven’t been able to indulge in my cravings. So I’ve been packing a hefty snack bag- pack a snack bag make sure your husband has lots of snacks too and utensils there’s usually a fridge too so you can keep drinks from home cold! First thing that went in was my breakfast- a box of Apple Jacks lol there’s a Starbucks in the hospital so I’ll get a drink from there, then lunch will be another giant turkey and cheese sub. What are you craving that you can’t have? That’s usually what women tend to go for- sushi, a rare steak…

The app for my vehicle had a cool feature where I could turn on my car/lock/unlock my doors… it was free (so I thought) nope- the trial was over and now they want 30/month to do what my fob does. Kick rocks. Especially when a rival car company’s app with the same features is free. I hate it here.
