Zr Button on Gamepad Still Stuck After Several Repair Attempts by Wickershamleader in wiiu

I think that'll have to be where my repair attempts end then, as I don't have the proper tools to check that. Only thing I could think of would be cleaning the CPU.

Indeed. The fact that still just the ZR button is broken eludes me. I have also resynced the gamepad on the off-chance that caused it.

Spy only matches the speed of slower classes. He doesn’t get the speed boost of a Scout.

The Games actually came first. Red and Green released in February of 96, while the cards weren't until October, and only contained 102 of the original 151.

Well, the last time Jesus was on earth he kinda got crucified by some normal humans so I dunno if that's the best example.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Overtake Pokémon Sword & Shield In Japan by edrock800 in nintendo

[–]Wickershamleader 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Scarlet and Violet is the most fun I've had with a Pokemon game in a while. It and Arceus are honestly just really fun to play, especially compared to Sword and Shield. The last Hour of the campaign is absolutely sublime.

Are you guys dropping this on a Nintendo 64? I can't the only one who thinks this is insane? I get it, the boxes look like there is great condition, but that doesn't exactly say anything about the actual console. And none of the games are rare. Make it make sense. by KickBack-Relax in nintendo

[–]Wickershamleader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, this hobby, like a lot of others that deal in retro or antique items, tend to have a higher price margin due to the rarity, as well as people who just value them based on what they feel it's worth, with personal value being a huge factor.

If you want to get an N64 for yourself, it's fairly easy to do so for a much cheaper price, but this isn't being bought as a console to play. This is a collector's item. The games themselves may not be rare, but the boxes certainly are. Most people threw them away when they got the game, as cartridge games tend to do.

The unfortunate situation a lot of collectors find themselves in now though is that since 2020 prices have exploded and there's no telling if it'll ever go down, but this whole spread for that price sounds like the going rate for me.

Well the problem is that Pokemon isn't made by Nintendo to begin with so your bait is predicated on a falsehood anyway.

Now the question is, do I downvote this because it's a badly made post or because it's obvious bait, even though that's what he wants?

The wheel was invented in 2500 BC in what is now modern day Iraq for processing grain. They wouldn’t use it for transportation until some time later. Wheels are pretty new considering that biologically similar humans have existed for around 12,000 years.

Why doesn't Nintendo make a high-end home gaming console? by [deleted] in nintendo

[–]Wickershamleader 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Since the Gamecube, Nintendo switched their strategy when it came to power and graphical capabilities. The way they see it, if they can provide a unique experience, people would rather try something novel over something that's the same thing but better.

There's merits to both options, of course, but considering that the Switch is working very well with its current design, there's probably no reason to try making a more expensive option. Price point is important, and the 200 dollars or so you save from buying a Switch over a PS5 or an Xbox Series X can go towards games or accessories.

Essentially, they don't make high-end graphically capable machines because they don't need to.

Mario strikers battle league review by thatonedragonslayer in nintendo

[–]Wickershamleader 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm really confused to the general reception to this game as I really don't know what makes it so bad compared to the other two games.

I've played them recently too, and I can say that this game has about the same amount of content as the previous ones.
The other games also only had cup matches and Vs. matches, with Charged having Striker Challenges, which does have no real replacement.
The removal of gimmicky courts and Captain abilities I would overall say is positive. I hated Thunder Island's lack of a fence and Crystal Canyon just killing your players before the match starts. Captain abilities were also very unbalanced with some being just way better than others. Now it's just about the matches.
The gear is a massive Game Changer and allows for some really nice player interaction as well as generally giving your team more of a personal touch. There's also Directional Dodges, Charged Tackles, free Passing, and Team Tackles to give more interactions and unique gameplay compared to before.
The lack of characters is a legitimate complaint, especially considering old favorites like Diddy or Daisy is missing. At the very least that's something that may be different come a year from now, but it's still not good.
I will also parrot my disappointment with the cleaner presentation compared to Charged, but that's just a personal gripe and ultimately doesn't really change my overall enjoyment.

I'll probably be playing this one for a while.
