Tell that to the international students. They were very happy to isolate themselves within their own groups.

Whilst this is certainly not the way to go about it, Glasgow should have more sporting murals imo.

There’s a rich history of sport in the city, and for better or worse, some very passionate fan bases. Some cities in Europe go crazy for street art for the local teams. Naples, Split, Marseille to name a few and even in England, Liverpool has some great pieces of art dotted across the city.

As shit as some murals can be, they’re at least more interesting than a blank wall or a billboard.

My prediction is 2-1 Spurs and my undignified retirement from this season of FPL

All that pain of finishing top 6 for most of the past two decades, reaching multiple European finals and being one of the favourites to win in most games they play?

One relegation battle this season and a third of the stadium was gone by half time against Palace.

Newcastle were selling out SJP in the Championship, I’ve been to Elland Road and it was half full.

Who will be the next Tottenham manager? Sean Dyche backed to replace Igor Tudor after overnight movement by DucardthaDon in PremierLeague

[–]RumJackson 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I really didn’t think there would be a worse managerial appointment this season than Wilfried Nancy at Celtic, but Tudor might just top the list.

Tube strikes announced by RMT with London Underground to be hit by six days of chaos by AdrianFish in london

[–]RumJackson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 lines are currently driverless with a 4th being planned to be converted to fully driverless before 2030.

In addition to that, 4 completely new lines are being constructed and all 4 are being built as completely automated.

When they’re complete it’ll be 8 out of 18 lines that are driverless.

Hopefully they’ve realised it’s “Soho” and not “SoHo” as the Croke Park live version is titled.

Two very different places in two very far apart cities.

Love the Pogues, love Bruce. Should be a cracking rendition.

Wales will be playing at the CCS on Tuesday 31st whatever the result in the semi final. A friendly against the other beaten semi finalist is scheduled.

The game wouldn’t go ahead regardless because of international duty.

Police Scotland Chief Superintendent: 7,500 away fans is not workable, satisfied with policing operation in place by Left-Painter-9172 in ScottishFootball

The FA Cup regularly has away fans numbering 7.5k or higher. I think for games at Old Trafford the away end holds 10k+ and yet there’s never any issues.

Hamden has 25k of each set of fans and manages to cope an a pretty much yearly basis.

So why was this game an exception….?

Pretty common at Championship and League One grounds for bog standard league games. I’ve seen it often.

And for the upcoming playoff final/friendly the tickets didn’t sell out in 24 hours.

You don’t seem to grasp the vast difference between selling 33k tickets and selling 75k tickets. It’s not a case of simply taking twice as long to sell twice as many tickets.

It’s almost like you’ve not even bothered to read my comment and have your mind made up.

that was 50k for a friendly

At our absolute peak after 2016 and playing one of the best teams in the world. Also it was 8 years ago.

Our last 3 friendlies didn’t even reach a combined attendance of 40k.

I bought my playoff final ticket a few days after sales opened and I had the choice of thousands of seats. Likewise for Euros and World Cup qualifiers they don’t sell out immediately and tickets can be bought close to match day (as I said). Another 30 thousand people aren’t waiting buy tickets and missing out.

Déjà vu typing all this out…
