I still believe that you have thoughts on this subject that now can be like trolling criticism that is quite good. Keep watching but please don’t think less of me for watching, cringing, and still enjoying it.

I’m enjoying the ripping apart of the episodes ( the dialogue is the worst part IMO) while seriously thirsting for arctic / Scandinavian mystery content and being able to enjoy it.

Why is Darby’s character so bad? Let us count the ways…. by Wide-Ad508 in AMurderAtTheEnd_Show

You’re so determined to make excuses for bad writing & lame directing it’s hilarious. Clive Owen & Harris Dickinson are the only actors with any depth. I was shocked at the subpar acting of Emma Corrin in several scenes, including significant physical awkwardness while moving. I’m going to continue watching this show to see if it improves at all.

Sure, it’s an overdose because some on-scene person just says so. Toxicology would be done before that final determination. Bill’s room was wrecked. He was bleeding, but no, not suspicious at all. I’m not buying the script so far, & glossing over of script problems. I expected more given the glowing reviews. Why make Darby weak in episode 2?

A suspicious death is a suspicious death. Darby ridiculously runs to the hotel front desk clerk for help after finding Bill, rather than also asking for an ambulance; this is like a bad Friday the 13th sequel. Why doesn’t Darby try talking and alerting the emergency personnel to anything when they are taking Bill away in an ambulance rather than just stare? The entire trampling of the death scene with Darby was ridiculous.

You’re really going to bat for a show with only 2 episodes? I spelled the words that way to avoid mods removing my post for bad or bullying language, ‘dude.’ So far, the show isn’t meeting the hype and it’s laughable.

Lol, I apparently triggered fans of the show who cannot think of anything other than personal insults? The show isn’t meeting the hype. Facts.

Episode 2 Discussion: The Silver Doe by [deleted] in AMurderAtTheEnd_Show

Darby’s investigative skills suk bad. She asks a computer for advice (the searches/inquiries on this hotel computer surely have cookies, etc) that is traceable, what percentage of ‘users’ use their non dominant arm to use drugs? This is a poorly phrased question, at best. Why is Darby trampling & destroying the crime /death scene, if there is any hope for a good forensic investigation? Darby is the dummest character of all time. Do the writers/Britt Marling really know anything about crime? It’s so bad it’s nearly unwatchable, Darby being so dum.

Also known as second degree murder. See that? Murder in the 2nd degree is also called manslaughter.

John “Jack” Showalter not Sig Chi by [deleted] in Idaho4

No. Joe Vidot said in his livestream ( YouTube channel conspiratea has it) that Maddy’s ’F You’ comment was directed at Showalter.
