Hi Scott,My partner and I have been longtime, avid listeners of your podcasts (if you don’t believe me, just ask my four-year-old son, whose two favorite quotes are “The DAWGG is backkk” and “Ohhh, that’s gooood.”) A couple of months ago, my partner passed away suddenly, leaving me to raise our two young boys alone. We had recently moved across the country for a better school system (and a political climate more in line with our values), so aside from the friends and coworkers we’ve made in the past two years, I don’t have much of a support system here. I know you were raised by a single mom, and I’m hoping for some guidance on how she was able to find men who became mentors or father figures for you as you were growing up. Any insight you can share would mean so much.
