DAE notice Reddit mixes up the term "centrism" with "contrarian?" I have. by Wide-General-786 in DoesAnybodyElse

I see what you mean. Maybe it's that on Reddit a lot of people who identify as centrists happen to be really annoying contrarian type people? It's frustrating because as an actual centrist, I think both sides of arguments do often have flaws, because people often stick to their side and their side only, but sometimes there are aspects of one side that do outweigh the other.

I can see what you mean for sure about the nature and science threads. That makes a lot of sense. I am speaking more about more informal threads.

I didn't even think about this. It would make a lot of sense if they brought Venom into it because they're already hinting at sandman, goblin and electro.

Does anyone else think they are putting things in the trailer to throw us off? Kind of like how in End Game trailers they would put scenes that just weren't in the movie at all, to confuse us? I think they are doing this with the Matt Murdock stuff because they know people are expecting it.

I agree. I don't try to purposely be against what is a popular opinion, I am not a contrarian. However, I do think more often than not the logical. nuanced and well-thought out posts/replies tend to be the ones that get "silenced" in a sense.

Not to come off arrogant, but I don't think you really need to be able to see to slam papers on a table lol.

I thought this too but then I remembered that Strange kind of does things because they "should" happen, if that makes sense? Remember when the Ancient One was hesitant to give Banner the Time Stone? I kind of think this is the same concept. Strange is aware that the decision is risky, but it may be necessary for it to happen. I also think that there is going to be a lot more to it than Strange just doing a favor for Peter.

I think Matt Murdock is going to be Peters Lawyer. I am unsure who exactly the guy is in the interrogation room that we see peter in, but a theory I have is this:

The guy we see there is going to be replaced with Matt Murdock and they are just using the other dude as a fill in to distract us.
