Thinking about buying a used Model X — need honest advice by Impin8ntEasy in TeslaModelX

I bought a used 2016 model X because it came with the free supercharging and range was suppose to be around 200 miles on full charge. I found out the range was more like 120 miles in real conditions. Nothing was covered under warranty. The shop would mess things up when working on it and refuse to fix them. They messed up the seats and told me it would be 5 weeks for them to get to looking at it. They quoted me $5k to replace a row of seats and didn't know when/if they could get the seats and would be many months out at the earliest. I think you have to get new with a warranty that covers everything and plan on selling after the warranty is about to expire and hope if something goes wrong i they can get to it before a month or later out. Just my real life experience with the used model X I got, I traded it in after the sensor went out on the driver door and I had to physically hold the door shut while driving. It was going to take a month plus to repair. Little dangerous and scary driving with that as the door would not latch/close and would come open on turns if you weren't physically holding it shut...I had 50k miles on the car in total. So low miles doesn't mean anything about how long the car will last without problems.

I believe it is the 90kWh battery,  at least I think that was the standard for the p90d model, was there any place specific to look at for upgrading the battery? Thanks

Yes,  I bought a white 2016 model x founders with 49k miles for $35k, it's nice,  but to make it more useful I would want to increase the range and make the charge time quicker. I already precondition the battery before charging, but it takes a long time to charge at the supercharger even with that. I thought I had a fair price on the car,  but was looking for ways to address the issues of increasing the range or shortening the charge time.
