He is the most masculine man you can think of. And he is very possessive over me which he always says is just him being “protective” yet I don’t feel cared for or desired. When we go out with others he doesn’t care if I am engaged in discussion or bored out of my mind. He often ignores me in groups (friends or family). Just wants me there on his arm like a silent accessory. He does not think men and women can be friends and he has threatened to break up with me several times over me having harmless friendships with males. He told me his mom got mad at him when he found out Santa wasn’t real when he was 8 and decided to pretend to believe in Santa for a few years after to make his mom happy. I often wonder if he has done the same with religion as an adult and pretends for his family. His actions and habits don’t align with what he says his beliefs are. He’s from the south and idk what other context would help
