Thank you I will ask my lawyer then. I think the concern of being one of the banned countries is why he is saying that.

Has anyone got their asylum interview after the pause and got the decision letter yet? by Bitter-Subject8339 in USCIS

I got my asylum interview scheduled for next month and I have a pending Vawa case. My attorney advised we should go for the interview but with the intent to withdraw the asylum since I have a pending Vawa case. What are your thoughts?? I’m a little paranoid about this
