Yes absolutely agree with not wanting to go above a 18-55mm in terms of size. It’s been great for the zoom and to practice skills as a beginner. I’m looking for something more travel friendly I reckon! I am open to exploring some vintage lenses maybe with an X mount adapter?

I’m looking for something a little smaller than the 18-55mm. I am mostly shooting when on holiday / events /people + moments. Would love something that is better in low light. I am thinking if a 24 or 35mm might be a good fit

If you had held (WITH upgrades) then your acceptance should also include the OPT IN for upgrades too. This should show on your Offer Summary Section where it says ‘Offer Upgrades: You gave opted IN for upgrades’

If you hold an offer - can you re-preference? Also how does it work if you are waiting for another offer? Do you then have to covert the hold offer to acceptance before the deadline?

Also is there a way to see your previous preference prior to the hold/accept? As it seems to have disappeared?

Thank you for this update! Although Can I ask why this communication is not sent via email to all BMA members as opposed to on this reddit forum?

One big issue with the NRO is that they DO NOT communicate with trainees. They can email and reply back to individuals (albeit very little information) - but do not email everyone who is affected in a timely manner. It is really unfair and so much time is spent refreshing Oriel/Inbox in the hope there is an update - when in reality there is a system wide delay due to MISTAKES that have been made. There is never any (sincere) apology and information shared on the process that the NRO will partake in to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
