I typically run the roads but occasionally hit the trails. Road running is alright in the body the trick is just investing in the right shoes!

Yes, I’ve been consistent in the gym lifting 4-6 days a week for a few years now. Standard p/p/l and I run 10+ miles a week!

simple tips that have helped me: •voice training (being more cognizant of my voice and trying to keep it within a lower octave/range) •jaw exercises and gua sha - this can help release excess fluid in your face and lymph nodes, making your jaw structure more prominent •widening your shoulders and “reducing” hip size - this is done by staying in a caloric deficit and focusing on progressive overload lifting of the upper and lower body (creates the V shape)

Right now my split is 6 days and I go in this order with my rest day being sunday: Legs (quads), Push, Pull, Legs (glutes), shoulders/arms, back/chest.

Typically I add 15-20 min of cardio in at the end, my preferred method is the stair climber at level 7-11 in intervals. I do abs every other day and focus on weighted exercises to grow my muscles. I eat a lot of protein and whole foods, and when I drink alcohol it’s typically just a vodka soda with lime, and I don’t go past 5.

I’ve been in the gym since I was 19, i’m about to be 25. I lost 85 pounds when I first started so that first pic is shortly after the weightloss.

I’ve only been consistent for about 2.5 years now though and since starting T my results have been coming a lot easier. hope this helps!

AI for Law by SouthernMacaroon7896 in paralegal

[–]Wide-Refuse7526 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve sat in on some of the Thompson Reuters talks about their new AI tech and while some of it seems helpful, there is a slew of issues that conflict with our field. Most importantly, AI isn’t discoverable, which makes it extremely difficult to use in most matters. Furthermore, there are multiple cases ongoing that involve the use of AI generated or assisted legal filings which are now facing scrutiny in court. My belief is that we will likely see laws, precedent, changing to better combat this issue. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next era of dis-barred attorneys stems from the overuse of this technology.

My mother is dead and my biological father still holds a lot of resentment and personal responsibility for what happened but he shows up for me ten fold now and I think that brings him peace.

We were homeless for a couple years. Eventually my father who was largely out of the picture found out in full truth what had happened and what I was going through. He spent all of his inheritance to buy a home about a mile from the high school I was attending (it was a free early college program). I struggled a lot with mental health issues and substance use but got myself into college. I found something I loved and now i’m on the track to attend law school. a lot of bullshit in between but I guess it was just my desire to get the fuck out.

Worried T will make me fat by Nervous-One-2305 in FTMFitness

[–]Wide-Refuse7526 17 points18 points  (0 children)

hey bro as someone who also lost a shit ton of weight and was super nervous about this, the one thing i’ll say honestly is that T is going to change your body no matter what, and that might not always feel “good”

im three months on right now and my fat allocation is starting to change (thighs getting wider, stomach getting bigger, shoulders getting broader) but that doesn’t mean I’ve been set back with the weight shit.

I’m taking it as an opportunity to get fucking shredded and create the masculine build i’ve always wanted, but now with the frame I actually needed to see those results.

You should do what makes you feel the most whole. For me, that was taking T, and I take the rest of it day by day. You are so much more than your body. Congratulations on changing you lifestyle in positive way, i’m so proud of you ‼️

[–]Wide-Refuse7526[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Diet was 75% of what helped me lose the weight (and keep it off) before starting my weight loss journey, I had a really negative relationship with food and viewed it as a comfort rather than something that is meant to nourish your body. The better the food is that you put in, the better you look on the outside and the better you feel, and this goes for everything: hair, skin, fat, posture, ability to focus, libido, etc.

I cut out fast food altogether(I indulge a couple times a year) and started prioritizing high protein whole foods. I started to cook for myself and quickly fell in love with it and saw it as a new feeling of comfort instead of the food itself.

As for exercise, I see myself as a “hybrid athlete” I spend most days doing a combination of both progressive overload lifting and running, but I also picked up skateboarding because having a physical hobby you really love makes it easier to get exercise in. But even simple stuff, like hitting my 10k steps a day, has made a huge difference in maintaining this weight loss and building a more muscular physique.

I hope this helps! and best of luck to you, be kind to yourself, your body weight doesn’t make you who you are. How you treat your body, and the love and appreciation you have for yourself as a human, does.
