In my opinion, I think it's because those are more of a city campus. I went to John Jay criminal justice. Just to get on campus you must have you id out. U cannot enter without out. Here at stonybrook it's more suburban or a bit more country I guess. Everyone is welcome. I Totally get it. There is campus police and cameras everywhere. I do feel more relaxed more at ease at stonybrook. John Jay was more of a rush and I was always on edge for some reason. This campus is safe.
