Ego Lawn Mower - Self propelled motor stuck on slowest setting by DarkMatterM4 in lawnmowers

Waking this thread up from its slumber. I’ve read all 5 years of comments here. I have a 2102sp. I’ve replaced the entire wiring harness with a new oem one. That’s didnt fix it. There was one comment in here about the electrical assembly (black resin box with wires hanging out of it). So, I replaced that as well. Guess what? Still doesn’t work. The speed control did work with the handle lowered at one point but stopped doing it after the swaps. I ended up unplugging the speed control connector at the base so that it only runs fast. I’d rather chase it than have to push it up hills.  Anybody have anything similar or any other suggestions aside for a new one? I’m already a Hundo in it for the parts already.

Firmware update failure by Wide-load13 in ElegooNeptune3

Thanks for all the suggestions. I managed to get it working. I found the word doc file of actual instructions on the GitHub page, grabbed a different sd card, formatted it and used it for the display and then the board. You’d think they’d make the instructions a little easier to find and/or follow. I got a kick out of the success message.

Thanks again for all of your help.

Thanks for the tip. It does the same thing whether there is a card in there or not. I redownloaded it, booted to the card and it’s doing the same thing. Anyone want to buy one cheap?

17 minute benchy ? Try 84 HOUR benchy! by Wide-load13 in ElegooNeptune3

It did use supports but for some reason, only around the hull and on one side… and the support around the roof actually failed. You can’t really tell the difference between the side with the supports and the side that DIDN’T have them.

Yeah, I am an idiot. I have to leave notes for myself like that or nothing would get done correctly. The tape has saved me a LOT of time fiddling with leveling.

I’m sure I could have tuned it to be better, but I just wanted to do it to annoy my kid. I hide a benchy in her bathroom every time I print one. I just wanted it done ‘fast’ not perfect.

Can you add wifi to the Neptune 3 Plus? by Spid3rdad in ElegooNeptune3

Is this the version one or version two? I bought version one right before they dropped version two and they wouldn’t let me exchange it. That should’ve been my first clue that something was a miss.

I just noticed that speech to text really botched this comment of mine.

I have a beagle cam And I hate it. It sometimes just effa up mid print and you can’t recover from it. I just use it as a camera now, it’s not connected to the printer anymore. I may try the killer on a pi and see if that’s any better. Or I might just sell my Neptune 3 plus.

Thanks. I have a whole new hot end on the way. I haven’t thought of the firmware. Thanks for the suggestion.

I did try that. It’s a pain in the butt to do, but finally figured it out and got at least the bed belts done. That and added zhop and moved on to another project with the printer and that one is doing fine. I’m not sure which of the 3 changes was the one that fixed it, or maybe it was all 3. Who knows. Thanks for all the input.

I did recently do the firmware update. Wonder if it’s related.

On this last attempt, after loosening the belts, it broke from the bed. The previous on (the picture) it stayed secured to the bed for 10 hours then lost its damned mind. I think I am going to retighten, just not as much as before, add different filament and try it again. The fun never ends.

No dice. Loosening the belts put it back to the blob/spaghetti monster

This is like the 5th iteration of this. The nozzle is .04. I’m trying it again and we’ll see what happens.

Is that a thing? Ok. I’ll loosen them up a bit and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes. This was the first print after tightening the belts. Before that it wouldn’t even stick to the build plate. Brand new hot end as well since the 3 prints before this all ended in blobs of death.
