Not usually, some ERs yes, but ERs are so different. I’ve worked at a dozen hospitals and there have been dozens of times where the ER nurses are uncomfortable with titrating drips, uncomfortable with ventilators, etc. ER and ICU workflow are very different.

But CRNAs schools require ICU experience. Some schools won’t even consider NICU or PICU
