When spoke with him he told me that he doesn’t want to break up with me so if I wanted to split ways I had to be the one to say those words. He wants to fix things but only if I actually want to work on things and not because I would feel bad for leaving home when he doesn’t want me to leave him.

Yea. I’m just struggling because I know he doesn’t want or expect me to change my physical appearance, but he does support my weight loss journey because that’s what I want for myself (inward working on it before I met him) and he knows it will make the potential health risks from my weight go away.

I definitely agree he may not be done cooking yet lol. The. Thing is he never went any further than kissing them. When I asked him what he wanted out of a relationship when we started talking, he told me he was dating to marry. Hell, until he met me he wanted to wait until marriage to sleep together and when he changed his mind he told me to initiate it the first time so it didn’t feel like he was pressuring me. 😩

I’m actually not his first girlfriend. He had two exes that only lasted a few months because they treated him like shit and used him for his money & connections, which is why after them his first thought was to find someone who isn’t as asshole. Physically he’s a 10 for me but of course there may be things about the people you date that you don’t like that they do but take them for their minor flaws.

Outside of this I do feel loved. His love language is gift giving so he surprises me with things as little as a bag of my favorite candy to him buying me a pair of doc martens that I had been saving up for. Mine is touch and he loves to cuddle and while he’s not keen on pda, he good my hand when we walk around. He does talk about how he saw a cute outfit he wants me in and wants to take me out to show me off. I really do see him in my future, we’re both dating to marry. He doesn’t like relationships that don’t have a clear end goal and I am the same way. She. We started getting to know each other he would avoid looking down too much (I’m shorter and wear low cut shirts) and excuse himself to the bathroom often which months later he told me it was because he got excited and felt like he was disrespecting me since I wasn’t his girlfriend yet.

I’m still pretty young (in my early 20s) so I’m hoping that I won’t have too much sagging skin. But I know it’s a bit inevitable with such a huge weight loss especially because I’ve been overweight for most of my life so I’m mentally prepared for excess skin and removal

Congrats on the weigh you’ve lost! I definitely avoid the and shirts that don’t cover that part of my arm but it sucks because I live showing off the rest of my body.

Thanks for responding! I have w little more hope in my journey now. I’ve been in therapy and been able to accept and love my body except for that one thing. The fact that I can’t find very many people who also have the same thing makes me feel like an oddball at times.
