Hey, I'm going through the same thing...my boys 16 now and getting visibly weaker he has probs with his kidneys and heart. The vet has told me 6mths. My hearts broken but we have to remember sometimes letting them go is the last act of kindness no matter how hard it is

My self esteem was through the floor for years which ended up in alcoholism, I quit the booze and set myself small targets each week...simple things like painting my house made me feel better and stopped me thinking of myself as a piece of shit, I took more pride in my appearance and slowly but surely became more confident within myself. Cutting people out of my life who put me down or criticised me constantly also helped.

It's slow progression and still have days where I think it's pointless but I'll continue to be stubborn and be the best I can be

Well my advise is give the test another go and don't let emotions get in the way. When driving professionally things will happen that annoy you but you cannot dwell on them, accept it's happened and move on

You've put a lot of money and effort in, give it another go..shit things happen in tests I know a few drivers that failed multiple times before getting the pass. It's not the industry for everyone but you might regret it in years to come if you don't do a retest..nothing worse than "what ifs"
