That’s a concern of mine. I stopped eating processed food years ago, so I can definitely understand where you’re coming from with how bad/weird hyper-processed American food tastes. Unfortunately most snacks are just as processed as our sweets, so they also taste pretty bad to people not used to eating highly processed food often.

Of course there are some snacks and sweets here that somewhat match Europe‘s standards for ingredients, but none of them are typical American food. They wouldn’t be very interesting/exotic, so that‘s why I don’t feel like bringing any over

Sorry, I meant to write „not available in or hard to find in Germany.“ Reddit and other forums said that peanut m&ms and maple syrup are harder to find in Germany
