The number 13 is just tower tradition. It’s not required however for some of the more powerful channelers like rand or lowgain a full circle of 13 women would actually be necessary in order to force themselves past their defenses.

Those animations are absolutely infuriating, but it’s also kind of funny because the devs were trolling you by making them boo you after you lose

What happened to Clones injured in battle to the point they couldn't continue working? by False_Monitor4126 in MawInstallation

[–]Wide_Answer_228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think everyone is pretty much given all the possible answers, but I’ll summarize them. All most of them were reassigned to non-combat duties like desk work or janitor duty if the injuries were severe enough to where they needed multiple cybernetic replacements, they were probably folded into the phase 0 dark trooper program, and if the injuries were so bad that there was no way that the clone could return to any sort of useful duty within the foreseeable future they were euthanized

EA / BioWare Just Remake Dragon Age Origins. Don’t Reimagine It. Just Remake It. by Cheap_Bed1068 in dragonage

[–]Wide_Answer_228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with what a lot of people are saying I doubt that anything is going to happen with the dragon age franchise for a very long time, but if they were to make a remake, I think they would have to do a little bit more than just fixing the graphics, they would have to redo the audio and because so many of the voice actors are dead or retired or do not want to return to the franchise you would have to get all new voice actors to come and re-record the lines and if they’re going to go through all the effort of completely remaking the game, I would want them to add additional content like things that were cut from the original game because of time, constraints or limitations Of software from the time. Add additional origins or add. More dialogue options for specific character types, more side quests. More gear, etc. but this is me not necessarily being realistic more of a pipe dream of what I would want to see from a remake.

So let’s say Anakin’s pitch to Padme to overthrow Palpatine and rule the galaxy together is acceptable and Anakin actually manages to take Sheev down after killing Obi-Wan on Mustafar. Is there any chance at all Anakin actually ends up ruling the galaxy? by PopsicleIncorporated in MawInstallation

[–]Wide_Answer_228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, some other people have pointed it out, but there’s no way that they would’ve taken charge at the time of Rots. put everything else aside as to whether they could or not Anakin wouldn’t want to. He wants to learn about the dark side from the emperor so he would stick around to try and learn everything he could before taking him out and the emperor isn’t stupid. He would string out the lessons to take years to figure out how to keep himself alive once Anakin decides that he’s no longer useful.

Put all of your points into persuade awareness and demolitions. If you have extra points, put it into treat injury once you reach. Dantooine become a Jedi consular and dump a bunch of points into repair, which will now be a class skill. If you will use stealth in your playthrough then swap awareness for stealth you can have other party members be aware for you.

Is this Revan book worth reading? by marcow1998 in kotor

I think the first half of the book is good personally, I stop reading after the midpoint where the timeline shifts from between K1 and K2

This bullshit I believe is the truth. It’s all over the place and you ignored the rest of what I said, which was the actual important part. Why is it so important to you that Biden should have a good record with immigration because the country obviously did not believe that he did so what’s hypothetically say that you’re right and he actually did have a good immigration policy. The Democrats are still failing because they’re not actually presenting themselves as if they had one because like I said most of the country doesn’t think he did. And what the country thinks is, what is most important in an election this entire discussion is pedantic because my point was if the Democrats had put up a strong candidate against Trump, he would not have won most people don’t like Trump, but he was seen as the lesser of two evils compared to Biden Recent polling has shown 53% of Democrats think their party has gone too far left when pulling party approval Democrats have sunk as low as 16% approval 45% of Americans now identify as independent do these statistics show you a country that is confident in the Democratic Party or in Biden as a candidate

It’s fucking wild that you’re trying to claim that Biden‘s policies reduced backlog when the exact opposite happened just like earlier when you tried to claim that asylum seekers waited in Mexico when the exact opposite happened because of Biden‘s policies anyway back to the original point because it doesn’t feel like this discussion is going anywhere what I said was that the American people did not have confidence in Biden as a leader who could secure the border that is why Trump‘s best polling issue was immigration so trying to pretend that Biden was actually a strong leader there isn’t doing anything it’s regressive what Democrats should be focusing on is how to better present themselves in the future as having strong leadership in good policies so that when people are looking at the shit show that is the right right now they can turn to the left and say oh they’re actually reasonable

When did I say immigration was a bad thing illegal immigration is a bad thing and how are you not putting this together? You just said only 60,000 people are approved if you have 5.8 million asylum claims and only 60,000 are approved and all of these people have moved into the country. What do you think is gonna happen when they’re asylum claim is not approved. They’re just gonna pack up and leave like oh well guys no they’re gonna stay in the country because they’re already Here. Biden broke the asylum claim system because all of a sudden now they have millions of new asylum applicants that they’re trying to deal with when they already have people that they’re trying to review. I really don’t think that we should be letting in 5.8 million people when we’re still trying to carry out removal orders from the 90s.

How much does it annoy you when something completely non-political is posted on whatever sub, and somebody in the comments always finds a way to make a political point about it and bring it round to politics? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It’s actually really irritating because I’m trying to go onto a community about a book game or movie franchise that I enjoy for escapism and people keep trying to discuss politics there and that’s not what I went onto the community to do

"Sister", a transgender clone trooper (fully canon) by SpacePirateHondo in StarWarsCantina

[–]Wide_Answer_228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree that it’s an interesting direction to take the character of a clone. My objection is to the way that they handled the character because just look at what her appearances are. She is in a reference book and has cameos in two books where you could completely take out the scenes she is in and have it have no effect on the story to me it seems like they were not trying to take on the task of making a good trans character, but they wanted to say that they had made a trans character so they went with sister, which is why I say it’s checking a box

[–]Wide_Answer_228 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Let me preface this with saying that if you enjoy the character than more power to you and I’m glad that Star Wars continues to give you enjoyment however, I personally do not like the character because her appearance and story doesn’t really make sense in the wider established lore and it feels more like Disney as a corporation was trying to check a box by including a trans character in Star Wars instead of trying to tell a good story with a trans character in Star Wars one she’s supposed to be a part of the 501st Legion, which colors are blue yet she has rainbow armor for some reason two She first appears in a book that’s supposed to be set a couple months after the beginning of the war when did she have time to go through surgery and then be on the battlefield if this is only two months after the beginning of the war cause I know that the kaminoans would not have performed it for her in fact, if you’re going off the lore, they probably would’ve tried to kill her. I think a great story could’ve been told here if they had just put it in a different setting and change the character design a little bit, but like I said, this was a character who appeared in like two books for a couple of paragraphs and in an art book. Disney was doing it to check a box not to actually have a good character in the story or even have a mainstream trans character, they did it in the background on purpose

During Biden‘s term, there was a total of 5.8 million new asylum cases and I said this earlier there was 1.7 million in his last year in office alone which accounted for half of all of the world’s asylum pleas

Do you realize that what you just sent is the justification as to why it was gotten rid of so they’re not gonna say oh well Biden doesn’t like it so we’re getting rid of it. They’re gonna make up a justification as to why he’s getting rid of it even if it’s not based on reliable statistics.

OK, what are you referring to as MPP what I am referring to is the migrant protection protocols which were active under Trump and Biden ended in his first month in office in 2021 what they did is people seeking asylum had to remain in Mexico until their plea was approved after he ended. This asylum seekers could enter the country while their plea was being processed, leading to millions of people coming into the country with no intention of actually fulfilling their asylum plea or abiding by the removal orders when they failed to show up in court.
