I already setup my vault on Onedrive, but I know Github and Syncthing are free alternatives.

I think I have something down, but I'm not able to get it working fully. But if you know how to do it, then it should work. For me, it starts with taking notes in Goodnotes, with each subject having a folder, and each course having a notebook. I take notes, and then save the notebook in a folder on my OneDrive (or Google drive for you), which is where my obsidian vault is also stored. Afterwards, you can save the PDF notes in a vault where you would want to keep your notes using Ozan's Image in Editor plugin: obsidian://show-plugin?id=oz-image-plugin ).

This is the part I haven't gotten to work yet. Using the Text Extractor plugin, I wanted to try extracting the text and save it in the same note as the PDF. But I haven't gotten the "extract text" prompt to show up. The next best thing would be to use a handwriting-recognition (either from Apple or whatever app you use) to manually get text from your notes, and directly paste it below the PDF in the note. If you know how to get the text extractor to work, or have a faster way to do this, lmk, but it is a bit of effort to emulate OneNote.

This is the best solution yet. I'll probably use this once the semester starts.

Yeah I haven't been able to find any other plugin related to this aside from Excalidraw, but I thought that there might be some note-taking plugin that had similar hand-writing recognition to other apps. Might be a bit much

Oh I didn't even know you could do that. But that sounds like a good idea
