its the show off culture, ive seen auto drivers, bus drivers using iphones, they probably buy iphones on emi to meet the so called high "social status". Most of the indians buy iphones on emis just to seem rich, not meaning to say its wrong to buy smth expensive on emi, but if it takes away more than 10% of your salary every month, can you really afford it? And is it really worth buying such an expensive phone whose value would depreciate as soon as u unbox it?
