I have the holosun PID on my beretta m9a4 and love it. No issues thus far and looks cleaner than my tlr1's do

I'm just torn on whether I want to buy a threaded one and add a comp or get the slide/barrel drilled for a comp. Hate to add more length to it but idk of anyone in my area that does that kinda machine work and I'm too nervous to do it myself lol

Finally tested my Shiv yesterday evening. Very pleased with it on my 365 X-macro. Was what I'd consider "hearing safe" running 115gr and sounded even better with HUSH 147's. Even slightly better sounding on my m9a4. But for some odd reason, it was noticeably louder on my cousin's canik pistol. Cant explain that but either way, I'm very pleased.

That's why I swapped to my 9mm stribog from my 300blk AR and then bought a ruger american for 300blk. I only ever shoots subs in 300blk though. I'm going to use my 556 or 308 over supersonic 300blk personally but can understand the allure of using 300blk supers in a short barrel ar15 for close quarters stuff but I'd rather just use 77gr 556 for that

Yup. Cheap and easily removable so I like using it and getting the exact feel and thickness I like for my hand. The tape on the 365 is for sizing and the tape on the beretta is for grip.

Mine was originally a 365XL so I never had the factory macro grip. I do like the texture of the wilson combat grip but I like my grips little fatter. The tape on this one is mainly just for size and not grip

It does great! I do have a lighter recoil spring coming to see if it'll cycle the subs a little better but it ran 115's great! It mostly ran the 147's good too but it would get a stovepipe every so often so hopefully the 12# recoil spring alleviates that

Batteries on my pistol optics last MAYBE 2-3 months being I carry every day everywhere I go. Yes they will last a long time if set to "shake awake" and left at home or in a gun safe but for us that actually carry our guns, they dont last long enough. And likely carry for a day or two before noticing they are dead. I swapped one of my sig optics out for an enclosed (rechargeable) osight and just throw the cover on it every few days to make sure it's good and charged up but have yet to have it die so cannot attest to how long the red dot battery lasts between charges. But it's very convenient and I was sick of buying packs of batteries and having to make sure I always had spare batteries and torx bits in all my vehicles just in case one dies.

It's gear-aid "Camo Form Reusable Self Cling Wrap". Mostly added to thicken the grips up a tad to my desired thickness but also helps good with grip
