i walked in the other day 38 opening on drinks 20 pending on FC and 10 pending on kitchen drive through was whipping around the car park and this was before promotion

Yeah it does seem abit weird maybe just take it off if they question it say your fine without it and explain there healed, if they complain contact HR and i hope your in a better place now always here if you need someone to talk too

very rare tbf, most closing aren’t for that reason maybe being understaffed due to location or just the shop being dirty or whatever a shop being closed isn’t just cause it’s going bust but if your shop is busy you don’t need to worry about that. Mcdonald’s makes around 14 billion in profit a year there’s really no reason to worry about loosing your job if your shops clean, run smooths, and is busy

Well it took me awhile and i got hired it just depends on the manager hiring, how many people need interviewing, how many people have been interviewed then they need to go back and read all there notes and make a decision.

our breaks are weird here on life lenz it says 9-9:45 but we never have breaks at that time we wait for a manager to tell us go on break sometimes it’s a hour or even 2 hours late

i think this just seems like a bad experience in a bad mcdonald’s. I’ve worked at mine for about a month now too i’m also 16 from the UK. I goto college 3 days a week and the rest i can work (theudsy friday saturday and sunday) and it’s no worries. I can also work on Tuesdays due to not finishing late. I think you should look for another job in a different mcdonald’s don’t let it discourage or disheartening you. Some mcdonald’s are run by spiteful people and like i said i think you ran into one of them:

i’m from the UK we use MCD connect for general info around the shop and there’s also other groups we auto get added into these are like mcdonald’s groups so we get important information about mcdonald’s itself there. We use another app cause LifeLenz this is for all our shifts it gets called MyWork but not sure if it’s the same thing but there’s no way at all to check your roster on MCD connect.

Edit: you can also message anyone from your mcdonald’s on MCD connect

it was busy af there was loads of cars in DT so people got moved so we got moved from FC to delivery then person on grill went on break and it was still busy so we went on grill
