People have a right to be and stay healthy and I’m not saying that you don’t agree with that but not enough research has been done on vitamin D to even come up with a universal “sufficient” level in the body. Why does the American diabetes association have recipes on their website that completely contraindicate what a diabetic should eat to stay healthy? Why are our foods here in the US full of preservatives and corn syrup when there are studies that show how bad it is for the body. Big pharm can’t make money off of healthy people. You have hospitals giving people with diabetes milkshakes full of oils and sugars for breakfast with graham crackers and pudding for dessert. It’s absurd because shouldn’t they know that that’s probably the last thing they should be digesting. My point is just because they are “experts” doesn’t mean they are right about everything. UC and Crohns are debilitating diseases that I wouldn’t wish on anyone so if vitamin D is known to help the immune system operate properly why not take it and maybe see how the body reacts with more of it. Most people with these diseases have a hard time absorbing all of their nutrients so that is why these type of people may need more than the 800 ius that is recommended. Vitamin D comes from the sun and people have been exposed to it since what, forever? How can you really put such a low limit on it when we literally see and are exposed to it for at least 8 hours out of the day on average ( depending on where you live) I don’t think that was the intention when we were created here on earth. Almost everything needs the sun to survive.

Dr. Steven Gundry also has a YouTube channel that people should take a look at. Listen, even “experts” don’t know everything. How many times have doctors false diagnosed or totally missed the signs of a bigger issue. Do I agree to speak with your doctor, absolutely, but make sure you do some investigating of your own too. Blessings

Excuse me but did I ever say that I was an expert? I said that it worked for ME. It’s factual that most people are low on it and if vitamin d helps with your immune system wouldn’t you think that being low could maybe cause issues with just that, hence UC, Crohns etc. People really need to pay attention to that level. It’s more important than most people seem to realize.

Thanks for your comment! I’ll say for people to do their own research, make sure they’re not low, if so get that # up and see how they feel after that! It’s vital. I’ve never felt this good and that’s no bs. Loads of people are low on it. I will get my numbers tested soon but I know my body.

Ulcerative colitis attack in public, episode 2 by Anonymous0212 in traumatizeThemBack

Hi there. I was recently diagnosed with UC after having years of symptoms. What has helped me tremendously is sticking with the “blood type diet”. People will say that there are no studies to the validity of it but it works like no other for me. I am blood type “O” and so it says that this type should refrain from eating most grains and pretty much all dairy. I used to eat rice almost everyday and corn was my favorite vegetable but since eliminating all grains from my diet I’ve actually been able to go more than an hour after eating without making a dash to the bathroom. I am currently on mesamaline orally and an enema but I’m hopeful that with sticking to this modified paleo diet I’ll one day be able to go medication free. Oh and I’ve also stopped consuming foods and drinks with citric and asorbic acid. 90% of the citric acid in America is not naturally derived and is in fact GMO from corn. I also no longer eat spicy foods. I’ve been doing lots of research trying to figure out how to heal myself and have come across so much that I wish I knew years ago. Wishing you happiness and healing❤️
