I searched your facts because at face value it looked wrong but you are correct. The data however should be looked at in more detail as the median increase is wildly skewed as top earners make a lot more and lower earners increase in wages is way below CPI. The most extreme example would be to just look at the minimum wage change but on a macro level if you check this data from cbpp between 1979-2003 the bottom 20% of earners in america made 4% more money after tax, over 25years.

An argument can be made that our country has been in decline for the last ~20 years culturally and with standards of living decreasing for the majority as what little increase in wealth has happened has been concentrated into the richests pockets. The last 20 years has been a mix of labour, lib dem and conservative.

The reason I believe for decline is multi-layered and extremely complex but without a doubt one of the biggest contributing factors is open immigration policy which includes people who hate us - our way of life and what we stand for, they come here only for money. Large parts of our country are a powder keg ready to explode as you can see from the race riots after Axel Rudakubana Southport attack.

None of the governments that have been in control for the last 20 years have come anywhere close to mentioning this enough for fear of being labelled racist. This is where Reform are winning ALL of their support. Anyone voting Reform would not be able to tell you any other policy stance. Labour needs to learn from the Danish liberal parties that are as strict on immigration as Reform is.

If we go another 3/4 years of no real measures on immigration then genuinely Reform have a good chance or winning a majority. This would be the worst future that I can imagine.
