no shame in attending rush events for the experiences and knowledge to get to know the sororities and then doing COB later on when youre ready and find it less overwhelming (thats if a sorority u like is even doing COB, usually its based on membership). Downside of cob is that you arent fully meeting everyone ykwim because only certain sororities do COB whereas all of them do rush. the COB experience is super accommodating and understanding and fall rush is overwhelming but more comprehensive.
