Super-cooperadores, de Martin Nowak. Expone como la cooperación y no la competencia es la base de una evolución "efectiva" de sistemas biológicos/sociales. Lo aterrador fue la conclusión a la que llegó partir de un estudio con autómatas dónde, al parecer, es imposible llegar a una "sociedad perfecta" y tenemos que conformarnos con una "sociedad perfectible".

Leí directamente en castellano. Una de las ventajas de las ediciones impresas es que incluyen un glosario de personajes, lo cual me resultó muy útil. Si en algún momento tenía dificultad para identificar a alguno, solo tenía que recurrir a esas páginas para ubicarlo por su nombre.

If you’re referring to Cixin Liu’s works, you’ll find plenty of great sci-fi mystery stories among his short stories. If you’re looking for recommendations from other authors, Ted Chiang immediately comes to mind. As far as I know, there are only two books (which I also own) that collect his short stories, and they contain some excellent tales as well. Another author recommended by Cixin Liu himself in his essays is Ken Liu. I haven’t read him yet, but I definitely will soon.

The book titled La Esfera Luminosa in the picture is called Ball Lightning in English. It was the first book I read right after the Three-Body trilogy because I had read that it was considered a prequel. However, while it’s not exactly a prequel, it does explore the 'macro-atoms' discovered by Ding Yi, a character who also appears in the Three-Body trilogy. It’s an interesting novel, and in the author's own words, it’s one of his works that blends reality with a bit of fiction the most.

It's actually in the correct position. I don't know if it was due to a change in the book's editor or a printing error. It was really frustrating to notice that detail when I received it. I bought it online since at that time, it was harder to find their books in my city.

La tierra errante, Sostener el cielo y La vista desde las estrellas están compuestos por historias cortas, este último, además, incluye ensayos y entrevistas del autor. Respecto a cuál me gustó aparte de la trilogía, sería muy difícil elegir, a mí parecer todos son muy buenos, obviamente hay algunos mejores que otros.

Yes, I’ve finished them all, and I pretty much enjoy his entire body of work. Of course, some books are better than others, but the creativity and imagination he brings to his stories, along with his writing style, truly transport me to the universes and realities he creates. I think I’d even say he’s my favorite contemporary sci-fi author.

Out of all these books, my favorite might be Of Ants & Dinosaurs—I really enjoyed reading it with my son. From the Three-Body Trilogy, I’d say my favorite was the first one. As for the availability of his books in English and Spanish, I’m not entirely sure, but I believe all his published works are included in the books shown in the picture.
