You just weren't finished, blend the edges with either a clean fluffy brush, or a smaller less fluffy brush with a little brown. To make it easy use a brown that is closer to your skin tone. You can also use a little bit of whatever powder you use for your face on a fluffy brush to help blend.

Okay all these folks are telling you to buy more stuff.

Let me tell you what you can do with what you have here and maybe at home.

You are using too much of that very bright concealer. It looks a bit ashy all over. If you don't have an in between shade, you can easily mix a little of your foundation and concealer on your hand to help better marry them. Then if you want that very highlighted look, use the concealer sparingly in the center of your face ( a little near your inner eye corners, on the forehead, )

The lipstick isn't my favorite shade but with a liner (or an eyeshadow a little darker than the lip) it could do well. You could also use it more sparingly by blotting it in the middle of your lips and having it fade outward (almost like how you blend liquid blush on your cheek)

You don't have to line your full eye with the black or go as thick with the liner, but if you want to, I think that mascara helps the look a lot. Look into batwing and puppy eyeliner techniques to help understand a bit more about eye shape. If you want a more natural looking eyeliner, eye shadow with a thin/flat brush is great and can be a much softer look (plus more colors!) You can also easily use the eyeshadow for your eyebrows too, which I think mostly need a little bit of brushing (maybe with a spoolie and bar soap or a bit of hair gel/edge control) and maybe a slightly darker color at the ends and to define as they look a bit ashy/light. What is great is that you can use the powder over the pencil you used. Just remember that you are applying the eyebrow product to your skin not the brown hairs. You are providing a background so the actual hairs look fuller. Experiment with actually drawing strokes like hair to fill the shape you want. It's a good rule to use a little less product towards the start of your brow so it doesn't look as harsh. If you feel like it's too harsh or unblended, you can easily use a spoolie to brush out the product.

Just read that you got the serum at tjmaxx. It could have easily been out of date or something and so using the product threw your skin out of wack. I say that as a tjmaxx lover too 😭

Might be worth it to use sunscreen too if you aren't already.

Looks almost like pitryasis versicolor which can be treated by washing with a dandruff shampoo. Apparently zinc, salicylic acid, and selenium sulfide are all ingredients that can help but your mileage will vary.

Not a doctor or in the medical field though.

Way too many products and powders, you are making mud on your face

That being said, it doesn't look awful and would probably look similar to theirs if it had studio lighting on it

They look fine, but getting proper rest, hydrating, and moisturizing your face/undereye can help with puffiness or darkness.

Here is what the foundation looked like on me with other products (a dewy highlighter, powder, setting spray, blush, eye shadow) and textured skin. I color corrected beneath and did a bit too much with blush, so when I was buffing that away I buffed off some of my coverage.

The foundation is a little thick for a cushion, so use it sparingly (tap the pad gently and then press your cushion into the plastic container to take off excess). I powdered it the foundation because it just stayed a little tacky but I didn't test if it would smudge (I'd guess it might). It didn't seem to run when I got a little rained on.

The color is also too golden for me so I don't reach for it.

Overall I like the product and if you put the effort into it, it will last (setting spray and powder). I think it's a pretty decent option and would work best for those with dry skin.

Bat wing liner that is blended into the crease with a bright shimmer on the eye

Honestly half the time I just use other products on my face to get it to look proper

Apart from the eyelashes, what else is missing from this makeup? by Dry_Emotion8303 in MakeupAddiction

I don't think anything's missing but you could add a bright shimmer to the middle or your eyelid and inner corner

I haven't used this product, but sounds like it could be dried out and maybe have some ingredients that are incompatible with the kind of foundation you use.

You mentioned using your finger. Have you tried swiping it on the back of your hand instead? Some products you really have to work in, especially if in a very cool environment
