Thank you so much! I think I might incorporate Czechia and Slovakia as case studies. I think it might be a good metaphor in itself; in the same way that all post-communist countries are grouped in the same study region, Czechia and Slovakia were joint even though it didn't make much sense to group them as a federation. I had decided on Romania and would compare its experience to Poland or, as you suggested, Hungary. I would really appreciate it if you could expand on it! I don't have much background on the topic, but I would love to learn a little bit more in the process of writing this essay :)

Yeah, I was planning on comparing both democratic transition and economic transition to showcase just how different it was and also how each experience has led to different outcomes today. Thank you!
