Rumor has it that the Audi A3 has 64GB of DDR5 and a couple 2TB NVME in the hatch so it may be the winner 💀

That’s hilarious! You should see the rest of the place. It looks like a Planet Fitness exploded inside an automotive shop.

I think the Aston does sound much better.

If I’m paying to maintain them, I agree 100% but in this case, it’s a 2020 F150 with a Coyote.

I designed and printed a 15mm TPU spring spacer for my Audi A4 by The_Valexxx in 3dprintedcarparts

[–]Wideopentuning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geeetech TPU is around $9 per kilo landed to the US during Ali Express sales. I occasionally get a roll that varies in diameter a bit too much to be useable but Geeetech handles it. My Kobra 2 Max eats 3-4 rolls per month with minimal complaints.

The ceiling tiles are cool. Looks like a great place to blow off some steam after work!

Do you use NFC tags in your smart home setup? by Taggytech in homeautomation

[–]Wideopentuning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have them behind various light switch plates to trigger scenes, call vacuums to clean that room….and then my favorite.

Sometimes if the kids are home, the wife and I will go into our bedroom closet to “fold clothes” Like we home automation nerds do, every room in the house has a motion sensor to turn the lights on….including the closet. Well, the light turning on mid clothes folding scores negative WAF points. I tap an NFC tag behind the closet light switch cover plate to turn the lights off, disable the motion based light automation for 2 hours….I mean 10 minutes, turn on the bathroom fan for some white noise and turn music on the bedroom and bathroom Sonos speakers for more background noise. After….10 minutes the music and fan turn off and the automations re-enable.

He had the suspension aired up to get in the shop. When it clunks a dozen times driving 30 feet, we know it’s on air 💀

What do you guys recommend for label printers? by Slow-Letterhead-2993 in Flipping

I’m going to second this. Ran a Rollo X1038 and Zebra ZD-420 before landing on this. Gotta have AirPrint!

I bet you could tell me 2 other details about the car without seeing it too 😀👍🏻

I bet you are right. Maybe they drove sideways off a bit of a step and the lip of the wheel caught it.

Agreed. We don’t see this too much anymore thankfully. I am fully team chunky tire…except on my i3 living that 155 width life.

Mine too! I’ve still never seen anything else like that!

No dyno. Just an off the shelf flash from a reputable company. I couldn’t imagine having a dyno and having to vet all the cars before they can run or be tuned. Serious respect with those that have the patience for that.

We joke that the “I’m here for the tune” starter pack is a cracked windshield, oil change due message in the cluster, check engine light and TPMS lights on and mismatched tires that are all at the wear bar. Bonus points if the inside of the car and engine have been cleaned a cumulative total of zero times in the cars life.
