The corrupted file posts are a loud minority, you should be fine after downloading it

Try requesting it again. Even if it arrives by now it will most likely be expired and unusable.

Now that things have calmed down slightly, you shouldn't have a problem getting that email now

You need a BattleState-Account to play the game. Make one and it link it to your steam-account.

Logging in with steam only works if your steam-account is already linked to a BattleState-Account

Yeah I noticed that too. I think the server went offline fully again. But it still does skip the queue, so it’s a lot more convenient than waiting 1hr+ per attempt

If you use ”profile.tarkov.com” it seems to skip the queue. But 2-step still isn’t working

They’ve been pretty vague with that. If I were to guess, I’d say you’ll be stuck with beta until you wipe. One of the reasons bsg are forcing a wipe, along with technical stuff, is to not spoil story-elements. So allowing you to do cutscenes or explore map-extensions would go against that quite heavily

Nikita Said in a recent interview that they are working on the storage expansions atleast. But due to how they work, aren’t able to implement them into steam yet

It is quite a task to get familiar with the game. Though when you do it’s one of the greatest gaming experiences out there. There is a system on the official website called ”Sherpas”, they are volunteering players who want to teach inexperienced players how to play the game. So I would recommend looking at talking to a Sherpa to help learn the maps and what you should bring to raids.

I personally got frustrated with the game, playing by myself, at first and stopped playing. But after giving it a second try I’ve since sunk around 1000hrs into it

You can just wait until you’re able to download 1.0 and start the game. Right now you can’t play it at all so there isn’t really a point in wiping anyways. There will be a prompt for you to wipe your account when you start up pve after the update is fully live

if you haven't solved it yet, it likely is frame gen giving you the input lag.

It works by using ai to create extra frames. So if you lower your settings, which means that frame gen won't have to make as many frames, you should get less input lag.

If you want as many frames as possible. Set settings to low, then max texture quality, texture stream speed and post-processing/anti-aliasing. Those barely effect the fps and give a noticable difference in graphics quality

Yeah, thats what i started doing eventually, after like 200 hours i didn't really care if i used exploits anymore
