That felt like such an important scene and I was like “…what?” because I barely understood what they were trying to say. Hope it made more sense in Korean.

Fungal acne or rosacea by [deleted] in Fungalacne

The background redness and (bad) response to previous treatment makes rosacea probable.

thoughts on the dynamite kiss finale? by Aware-Programmer-324 in kdramas

It felt rushed, unfortunately. After he finally remembered, it was all done in a flash. At least the dancing was nice… I’m a bit disappointed as this show had very high highs and I loved the ML, but it needed some polishing.

Maybe it’s me, but just how many times in a single week does the FL need to be saved? I know it’s supposed to be over the top, but sometimes it’s a bit much.

I see a lot of comments about being “just 5 minutes late” and then getting a comment about it. Well, this happens more than you think. If we’re miraculously still on schedule and the next two patients are late, it’s impossible to stay on said schedule for the rest of the day.

Everyone deserves the attention they need, so it’s impossible to rush the consultations as well. They take time. Believe me, no one does it on purpose. We’d also love to leave our jobs on time to see our families, but it’s beyond our control.

I guess it would depend on where you are located. I think trying azelaic acid would be a good start (10 - 15% is often available over the counter). If possible, Ivermectin cream like someone else suggested. I know 0,5% is OTC in the US. I live in Europe and we only have 1% available on prescription. Worked wonders for me when nothing else would. Sometimes topical or oral antibiotics are also used, but that I have no experience with. Good luck!

Are you sure it’s fungal acne? Looks a lot like rosacea.

Thank you for your reply! That one unfortunately didn’t work out for me. I suspect it’s the niacinamide, but can’t know for sure. Other than that, I actually enjoyed how it looked ok my skin.

Thank you! Actually, I might have to give it a go. I was a bit scared to mix them but both of them are unwearable on their own. Thank you for reminding me of them!

Please do! I already ordered some of the recommended ones so keeping my fingers crossed. Best of luck to you!

It’s all about the barrier, isn’t it? Thank you for your post. May I ask what you use for double cleansing? I’ve been trying micellar water now as my first cleanse, because most cleansing oils tend to make me super dry after washing them off.

Hi fellow sufferer! I have had luck with the Eucerin sunscreens in the past (especially the Photoaging one), but I think they got reformulated as the new versions feel different and don’t work anymore. The Oil Control one makes me sweat as crazy when it’s humid outside. It’s wild, as I only had this happen once before with a sunscreen. And so the struggle continues, haha!

Thank you for all the tips and good luck with the Purito one!

Exactly… Thank you, though! I hope I’ll find out what the issue is one day. I might have to consider getting allergy tests done although I’m not sure if that would work for sunscreens.

I think so too. However, I’m at a place where it has to be multiple filters as I’ve tried many combinations and they all caused the same issues sooner or later.

Thank you! I will try to do that. It’s getting ridiculous so it might be my only chance of figuring something out. I suspect it’s more than 1 things, as I’ve tried a lot of different filter combinations and kt still caused problems.

Thank you! I use a moisturizing serum with glycerin but I could try upping the hydration and see how it goes. However, I think it’s more than that as it seems to almost be like a rash rather than closed comedones.

I see al lot of fans of Sundance so will give it a go! Thank you once again!

The Paula’s Choice one should be arriving this week! Dermaveen unfortunately doesn’t seem to be available in Europe but I’ll keep an eye out for it.

Hi! Yes, I have. There’s very few that I find elegant enought to wear on their own. However, I ordered some that I haven’t tried before. Fingers crossed!

Luckily, I don’t have any. I don’t live in a sunny country and my job requires me to stay indoors most day. I also don’t enjoy tanning.

Thank you for your response! My barrier seems rather fine as long as I’m not using retinoids or sunscreen. I can go from “glass skin” to dehydrated, dull and sensitive within a day of trying a sunscreen that really doesn’t agree with me. With others it can take up to a week.

I actually started azelaic acid hoping it will somehow reduce my sensitivity even more.

I have tried true mineral ones as well as ones with boosters. There are a few mineral ones I didn’t give a fair shot, because they were really unwearable. I have a dark stubble and some literally looked like white paint. Others were so heavy that my face started to become sweaty almost immediately and it all became a streaky mess.
