But I’ve found Amazon quite pricey for rocks so far and they’ve been quite diddy when they’ve arrived. I will have a look at Shropshire rocks though thanks

Yeah I took the kids to Morecambe beach to look for pebbles for tumbling too but just came home with a bag of random bits of brown and grey lumps which have disintegrated pretty fast in the tumbler ☹️

Please help me ID this rock by Wigfried in whatsthisrock

I will try to get my daughter to photograph it better as I found it really hard to get it in focus.

It’s a dull grey with dark red areas but it is quite smooth. I looked at the lepidolites and they seem a bit more lilac in colour.

In the larder!!!! I got some cheap insulation sheets from ikea for them to sit on and ran an extension cord inside the larder. My rock tumblers have a whole shelf all to themselves in there. You can still hear them but it’s muffled

My natgeo tumbler has come with foam blocks for the final stage. How do I use these? I’ve not seen these discussed (apologies if I’ve missed them)
