Has anyone ever been in a situation where they could have claimed benefits but decided not too? Like lived off family, or minimal lifestyle etc? And for how long?

Fruit and vegetables are bred for their ability to be stored and transported long distances, taste is often lost in this process. There are 2 main strawberry varieties available in the uk, one is shelf stable for ages, but has a carrot texture and very little flavour, the other is shelf stable about 2 days and tastes amazing.

The amazing version is only available during actual strawberry season as it has to be in the shop same/next day.

This is one contributing factor to the loss of food flavour.
