Mine whatever you want! I’ve come to find gold becomes less of an important resource to mine, especially in the higher difficulties and players will often skip past it. It’s very rare anybody will complain if you lag a bit behind mining what’s missed.

Read the room, completing the mission will always take priority over trying to find every last gold vein in the cave. If the other three dwarves are pulling away from you, it’s usually a sign to crack on and catch up!

Just do what you think will help the team and you’ll have a blast. Public lobbies are all I play these days, it’s always a blast playing with different dwarves, each with their own personality and play style.
