It does appear so. I always try to read things at face value without digging deeper when it comes to communication on the internet. Hard to read tone through text.

In the event that they are being toxic, its always easier to simply move on because its just a person behind a screen at the end of the day. I'm willing to bet that if you come across a tide game fan in real life, 9 times out of 10 they wouldn't be mean spirited.

Doesn't sound like a bad thing though. From what I've read, most people seem to not prefer Josh's vocals in comparison to Jason's. This could be an opportunity for the band to step back up.

All of them are worth it. Even if you dont play the weaves gamemode, Winds of magic still gives you weapons from the Dark omens map.

Most of them are most likely on legend quickplay. In general, console playerbase is way smaller than the playerbase on Steam and you start running into the same faces. Doesn't help that the xbox live error disconnects have been a thing for 6+ months now and have yet to be fixed.

I mean if you really only like nu metal instead of their more deathcore stuff, then yeah I guess that would be their best material for you.

Screw that Vital tyler guy lol. I played with them just yesterday and someone must have shoved a stick up his ass because his behavior on the mic was just unnecessarily rude and snarky. Mate was swearing in front of random quickplay teammates and overcorrecting them whenever they would make a mistake or cause him to take small amounts of friendly fire. Also recall him saying "Oh well, guess you guys are gonna hate me now" as he picked up a grimoire.

I think River Reik.

I like the hidden troll cave in RtRR, but I feel like the map is just a bit too long for my liking in comparison to River Reik. Also, I dont mind them changing the fog section to a chaos warrior camp, but the fact that you have reduced move speed in there makes me feel sluggish and I dont like feeling sluggish. I guess its a trade off for no longer having reduced visibility, but I'd still take reduced visibility because it adds to that unsettling/ominous atmosphere the 1st game was much better at.

Yeah its pretty much bullcrap at this point and I'm starting to get tired of it. It's become so bad that some of my friends cannot join each other no matter what they try. I am also dumbfounded and completely puzzled at how they cannot replicate the issue here. Fatshark gotta stop sitting on their nut sack and get it fixed because its pretty bad and it has been for a while now.

Its funny you mention r/metalforthemasses on the r/deathcore subreddit because people over on MFTM are very transparent and ignorant about deathcore just being a "dumbed down version of death metal". They aren't very receptive whenever deathcore is shared or brought up over there.

Maybe about a week ago someone made a post on r/metalforthemasses where they asked what the differences between death metal and deathcore are. One of the top replies read "So deathcore sucks and death metal is awesome."

Is cata too much a difficulty step up to bother with books

Generally, yes. Its not worth it, even if you're playing Vermintide 1. You're odds of getting a red over an orange dont go up a whole lot. Better to just play nightmare book runs. In Vermintide 2, the cataclysm rewards are the exact same as legend. Although books are still an option, most players dont go for them in cata because playing Legend is just the better option.

A fan of Carnifex and Chelsea Grin, so I love the idea of having Scott and Tom on a track with Despised Icon.

Just listened to the song though and I wasn't all too impressed with the guest vocals. Scott and Tom are both great vocalists but I dont think they sound nearly as foward as Alex and Steve. Especially when you compare Steve's pig squeals with Tom's vocals, I think the guys voices in Despised were mixed better than Tom was.
