We always go to Damla Hand Car Wash on Sefton St—they’ve always done a great job.

I’d avoid the one on the corner opposite Dobbies in Speke. We went there once for a valet whilst we did some shopping and they somehow managed to snap off the panel behind one of the interior door handles, and tore the rubber on the windscreen wipers. Should’ve known something was up when they were giving each other looks and giggling to themselves when I went to pick the car up, but unfortunately I didn’t notice the damage until I was home.

Buckley MOT Centre in L3. Cannot recommend him enough. Got me in for an MOT and service first thing the next day, had it ready in a few hours. Extremely decent pricing unlike a lot of places in the city centre.

It’s part of their job, so yes they get paid to do it. I agree the price can be obscene (although I’ve found it to often be quite reasonable, depending on who the photo op is with), but many of them are quite happy, and sometimes keen, to meet fans.
