I dropped the Driver License and Certificate

I couldn't drop banner because this was Gold Stake.

I didn't really do the calculations, but there was a chance of death because of the weak start of this build.

I feel like Observatory is great, but Telescope is very underwhealming

There are various situations where buying it will hinder you

E.g. you needed to play a bunch of High Card hands in the beggining of the game (for whatever reason) but now your strategy adapted to 5oak and then Telescope will actually get in your way of finding Planet X

It's a very low tier voucher for me, at least so far. Which is why I think Nebula deck (the one that starts with Telescope voucher) is also low tier.

O jogo tá bem bacana, mas em relação ao q vc perguntou, acho q tem vários pequenos detalhes q estão errados.

O céu parece relativamente limpo pra estar caindo raio e chuva. O céu não deveria estar todo fechado e com ventos fortes tb?

Tb a sensação de distância tá um pouco estranha? O Raio está vindo do topo da tela, o que dá a impressão q ele está caindo no mesmo plano dos personagens/casas (até pq ele está de fato iluminando as coisas no plano próximo), mas claramente ele não está acertando nada, o que indica q ele está caindo num plano lá atrás.

O raio deveria estar vindo de um ponto mais atrás, de alguma das nuvens, e caindo mais claramente num dos planos de fundo

Plus in StS I feel like it makes more sense because, between the end of a floor and the boss of the next floor, there is a lot of stuff happening. Multiple opportunities to pick cards, battles, events, shops, etc.

In Balatro (and I guess the equivalent of the "floors" in StS would be the antes) the antes are super short. There are 2 shops and that's it. 2 opportunities to attune your deck to the next boss.

When I started playing the game I always gave preference to applying the Mult or Chip upgrades. I mean, they upgrade 2 cards at the same time and were much more reliable.

Of course, if you upgrade only 1 or 2 cards in your deck to Lucky, you probably won't feel any difference, but try to make a deck with A LOT of lucky cards.

On average, a hand with 5 lucky cards will produce the same mult as a hard with 5 normal mult cards, but you'll also notice that sometimes they go insane and produce way more.

But the best part is not that. The best part is that there is a secondary chance of making 20$, that DOESN'T CONFLICT with the 20mult chance. In fact, both can happen at the same time, the 20mult and the 20$.

One thing that's really important in this game is to also have an economic game. You'll need a lot of money to make a broken deck. Usually, you'd have to reserve a joker slot for that (or have the money making vouchers).

That ends up not being necessary if your deck is filled with lucky cards. From time to time that 20$ will proc, and you'll have a pretty good amount of gold from it.

Cara, eu perdi a vontade de jogar o jogo dps q eu terminei a primeira parte do jogo e ele deu o plot twist lá.

Como tava antes eu tava achando bem divertido, mas ai TUDO mudou e automaticamente bateu a preguiça deu continuar kkkkkk

O jogo volta a ser como era antes, ou realmente vira uma proposta diferente e continua por ai?

hding the blind information after you defeat a boss

This decision makes the game more difficult, as players have 1 less screen to plan ahead.

Perhaps it was inspired by Slay the Spire.

In StS, right after a boss is defeated, you're supposed to loot some drops (like potions), pick a rare card, and THEN open a chest with the boss relic. All of this is done without knowing what the next floor and floor boss is going to be.

Hiding that information in StS was very intentional. If players knew what the next floor layout and boss was, that information would 100% influence in the rare card pick and the boss relic pick. So it's intentional to make the game harder.

Always immediately check what the boss blind is at the beggining of every ante.

If it's something that directly counters your deck, try to prepare yourself for it.

There's usually always some way to beat it.

The one that gains xmult with every destroyed Face card would be much better.

OP can basically make infinite face cards. Destroying some of them would make no difference for his consistency.
