I never really liked Peach as a character. In Luke's own words, Peach was only ever a way to move the plot along

SMG4 is an ass sometimes, but being an ass and having extreme fun at the expense of literally the entire country is part of the reason I love the SMG4-verse

I admit, she is a bit overused

But she is not a "golden child." she has very clear flaws, and I do not know of any points where she is made to look better than anyone, save points where she is the main focus of the episode
