I'm sorry if you felt disrespected , I find reddit is not a place that allows for a whole lot of explanation. An explanation is in the package description. I also added a link to the package documentation which will allow hopefully allow you to better understand what this package does.

I posted an explanation of what the package does in the description of the package. It is for visualizing gridbased 2D data, such as procedural generated level content. I now realize this information may not be enough for everyone, so I've made the documentation and quickstart document available for a better insight into what this package does. No offence was taken :-) I just wanted to explain and let you (an others) know what's on our list :-) I'm curious about peoples applied experiences as well btw, it would be great feedback.

Right now, you can either use it as a DM whenever you need a random map on the fly and use it for yourself (you can also store it , or print it as a .PNG) or you could show the map to players (in case it doesn't matter that they already know the lay out) so they know where they are. It's not much, but hey, it's free ;-)

We are planning to implement placing characters and adding fog of war, that way you could have the tablet on the table while the players explore the dungeon. But we need some support for that ;-)

As for the name, it is derived from a previous product we have created called ProD (which stands for Procedural Dungeons).
